Kalesha Jones, APRN, PMHNP-BCis a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida International University in Miami, Florida, graduating Cum Laude. She later earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a psychiatric registered nurse. With over six years of mental health nursing experience in the inpatient setting, she has provided care to patients in a variety of treatment settings, including adult and adolescent acute crisis stabilization, veteran affairs, substance abuse, detox, and rehabilitation. As a nurse practitioner, she is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate mental health services across the lifespan. Through a warm and empathetic approach, she works to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment for her clients while relying on evidence-based practice, a holistic approach, and supportive interventions to maximize treatment benefits for those she serves. She believes that through education, pharmacological, and non-pharmacological methods, every patient can be empowered to optimize their mental wellness.
